Youths In Politics: Would It Ever Happen With N27.5m Forms?

The 'old' men in politics keep saying the reason we don't have Nigerian youths in politics is that youths are not ready to come forward.

Actually, APC presidential expression of interest form costs N2.5m while the presidential nomination form costs N25.5m, making a total of N27.5m.

N27.5m?! Wow wow wow! I don't know what to say ... A youth has N27.5m to spare for forms and you won't wonder how he got the money??? Realy?! Or are we to say youths shouldn't aspire for the presidential seat?

Ok, let's assume he is loaned (just for forms he is not sure would take him anywhere), when he gets to that position he has been aspiring to be, what do you think he would do? Embezzle? Of course! How do you expect him to make profit from his "investments"? Why do you think most (or all) politicians are guilty of this crime?

Well, as long as this keeps happening, this country can NEVER move forward. Never!
